For too long South Carolina has lagged in workforce development, leaving our state short on skilled hands, headquartered companies, research, and development.
THE ANSWER: An incumbent workforce of native South Carolinians, grown and nurtured inside one of our 46 counties, educated in our public schools and in our technical colleges. As automated technologies and new production techniques are implemented everyday in the Palmetto State’s $35 billion manufacturing sector, it is vital both industry and academia provide an uninterrupted stream of skilled hands.
THE SHOW: Next Gen MFG with the Toppe Bros.
Alongside South Carolina ETV, Jim and Joe Toppe, founders of South Carolina Manufacturing and Toppe Consulting, will travel the state highlighting the skilled hands, technical colleges, degree programs, global companies, and their tiered suppliers through compelling narratives to inspire next generation’s manufacturing workforce.
