BASF ECMS’ Holland named to Oconee County’s 2024 Top 20 Under 40 list

Tommy Holland, contract services supervisor at BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions (ECMS) in Seneca, has been recognized as one of Oconee County Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 Top 20 Under 40 honorees.

An Oconee County native and a 2007 graduate of West Oak High School, Holland joined BASF ECMS in 2011. His career with the company has been marked by a series of advancements, moving from operator to distribution specialist to his current role as contract services supervisor. In this position, he plays a key role in minimizing production downtime, overseeing contractor maintenance and ensuring smooth operations at the Seneca site.

A Marine Corps veteran, Holland is deeply committed to community service. As chair of the Veterans Employee Team (VETS) at BASF ECMS, he has led numerous impactful projects across Oconee County, partnering with organizations such as the Purple Heart Homes Golden Corner Chapter, Sleep in Heavenly Peace and the Blue Ridge Community Center. Through VETS, Holland and his team contribute an average of 750 volunteer hours annually, with Holland personally dedicating many weekends to overseeing each project.

Additionally, he supports the community through active participation in the Marine Corps League and serves as a board member of the Carolina Foothills Heritage Fair.
